Hazard & Risk Analysis is usually required as part of an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS), for new developments or change of land use.
The objective is to identify and evaluate any hazardous events that may occur as a result of the development or project, and to identify and evaluate the impacts of these events on the environment, infrastructure or property and on human health and safety.
Simmonds & Bristow's consultants will carry out your risk analysis and assessment in accordance with the NSW Department of Urban Affairs and Planning's Guidelines for Hazard Analysis - Hazardous Industry Planning Advisory Paper No. 6 and AS/NZS 4360:2004 Risk Management. This will ensure the report will adequately assess all potential hazards and satisfy regulatory requirements.
Some recent projects we've worked on include:
- ERM Power: Gas fired power station and natural gas pipeline
- Northeast Business Park: Industrial, commercial and residential development
- Focus Products: Storage of hazardous substances.
