Training Specialists

The Certificate II in Water/Wastewater Operations (NWP20107) is a two-week course on water or wastewater treatment plant operations.  It is a nationally recognised qualification aimed at Water or Wastewater Treatment Plant operators and water industry technicians.

The course is designed to provide treatment plant operators with industry-focussed training, and offer significant benefits in the workplace including:

  • Optimising current processes and developing tools to solve operational problems
  • Improving efficiencies with the aim of reducing operating costs
  • Reducing infridgements of environmental, safety and public health obligations
  • Increasing recognition and protection of valuable assets
  • Developing workforce flexibility through multi-skilling
  • Increasing life expectancy of capital assets through improved maintenance routines

The Certificate II course can be delivered at your nominated site, in two separate one-week blocks of training, which gives operators customised hands-on training on their own facility.  If you have four or more students interested in participating, this option is for you.  Contact us for specific pricing or to arrange a course.

Alternatively, students can join an open course held at our Training facility in Brisbane.

Each course is made up of elective units which are chosen by S&B's trainers to suit the specific needs of the trainee, with the focus being on either water or wastewater operations.
