Exploring the water industry across communities
Wednesday 9th of October, Australian Water Association held its annual NT Water in the Bush conference for 2024.
Our Specialist Water Industry Trainer, Liz Millan, attended the event for its 35th return to the NT. This year the NT Water in the Bush Conference for 2024 focused on the goal to transform to a sustainable future.
Liz is a very familiar face in the Northern Territory, as the lead trainer for an ongoing Water Industry Operations training program. We are currently delivering Certificate III & IV networks and treatment training across Darwin, Katherine, Borroloola, Alice Springs, plus for the folks who look after the upwards of 70 remote communities.
When we work so frequently in communities, we believe it is important to understand the challenges, successes and goals for the locations; so we can play our part in helping deliver good, clean water however we can.
Liz is spending two weeks in Darwin, delivering NWP30222 and NWP40120 training to help support the water services and remote operations teams from around the Northern Territory.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by the coffee cart and enjoyed a warm coffee with our cups and thank you to those that stayed for a chat.
