Our Training Bootcamp is aimed at building competent operators quickly

By training in a real working environment, operators will have access to a real site where they can practice their learning continuously under the supervision and tuition of our experienced Water Industry Trainers, with real and simulated practice allowing learners to prepare for any scenarios they may face in a job role.

Learners could become a Water/Wastewater Treatment or Network operator within 3 months; ready to jump into an operator role.
Access to a real plant will allow learners to put their training into practice, experiencing real circumstances and scenarios to better prepare their confidence on the job for a role in the water industry.
It will facilitate a quick start for those looking to get into the industry.
It will enable employers to get their new recruits trained and job-ready quickly.

How it works

The Training Bootcamp is an intensive full-time program that runs 40 hours per week for 3 months onsite. Learners will be subject to intensive training, coaching and mentoring while under the supervision and tuition of qualified Water Industry Trainers with decades of experience. Both delivery, practice and simulated exercises will be conducted to prepare work-ready operators.

The program will run each quarter of the year, with 8 places open for learners per quarter.

The Training Courses we are running

The Training Bootcamp will get learners qualified in the NWP30222 Certificate III Water Industry Operations.
The NWP30222 Certificiate III Water Industry Operations includes a total of 11 units of competency, with 2 core units and 9 elective units chosen based on the most common requirements of operators in the industry.
The units of competency included in the Water & Sewerage Bootcamp training plan will be fixed, with two specialisation options available:

Networks
Treatment (Water & Wastewater)
