Water Operations NWP20119, NWP30219 Training Opportunity with funding support from Australian Government ‘User Choice’ program

Take Advantage

We have been made an approved supplier of the following NWP Water Training courses:

  • NWP20119 Certificate II in Water Industry Operations
  • NWP30219 Certificate III in Water Industry Operations

This is on the Australian Government User Choice program which allows both government and private enterprise to access training funding for new and current employees.
This support is generous with NWP20119 and NWP30219 allocated a Priority One level of funding.

To take advantage of this available funding as an employer please:

  • Call Australian Apprenticeships Centre 13 38 73 and locate your nearest service outlet. Alternatively, visit their website to search by postcode. They have offices in most major and regional centres.
  • Register your employees (or new starts) with the Australian Apprenticeships Centre and they will assess the level of funding you can access for each nominee. Levels will vary depending on the background and role of the student.
  • Take advantage of Simmonds & Bristow’s Open Industry Training Courses and enrol your employees in an upcoming course.

To ensure you have time to complete these registrations we have reserved a number of courses in different locations for NWP20119 and NWP30219. The start dates are available on the full Training Calendar.

Full details regarding units of competency to achieve either NWP20119 or NWP30219 can be made available upon enquiry with our sales team. These may be varied depending on the need of the enrolee.

Terms and conditions of the User Choice funding are linked below. They are not onerous but it is important you address them. Please read these with Simmonds & Bristow’s terms and conditions of trade, provided below. All work will be carried out in accordance with our Terms and Condition document available below.

Training funding of this kind is not often available for private enterprise. Please take advantage of this generous offer now.

Queensland User Choice Terms and Conditions

  • A student contribution fee of $1.60 per nominal hour for 2016 will be charged. This is a legal requirement of the User Choice funding based on the nominal hours required to deliver the course and the amount cannot be varied or refunded. These invoices can be sent to, administered by and paid by the enrolling employer but must be in the student’s name.
  • Some students may not be approved for funding. The funding arrangements are independent of the commitment made by enrolling employers to pay the amounts listed above. No student contribution fee will be charged for non-funded students.
  • Enrolling employers must organise the funding independently through Queensland Apprenticeship Services, nominating Simmonds & Bristow as the training provider.
  • Enrolling employers will pay the full amount as indicated through a proposal up front as per our standard terms and conditions. Simmonds & Bristow will then refund the appropriate amount to each enrolling employer when the funding payments are made to Simmonds & Bristow. The student contribution is additional and will not be refunded.
  • Students who do no complete assessment material will be considered “withdrawn” and therefore the Department of Education and Training will withdraw a portion of the funding. Only the funded component will be refunded to enrolling employers.
  • Invoices for Student Contribution will be raised when the funding arrangements for each student are confirmed.
