Face-to-face (FTF) training or our ‘Classic’ delivery is in high demand and one of our most requested delivery methods. It is a method that has proven to work and continues to be a learning favourite for new and existing water industry workers.
Our team remain flexible and steadfast in their ability to make training work as seamlessly and effectively as possible. Although our calendars fill up fast, we are here to help you and will do our best to ensure your needs are met.
A recent example of success was with a local service provider in the Northern Territory that required their liquefied chlorine gas qualifications in quick turnaround due to a change in licensing. Despite some scheduling constraints we were able to fit the training in and the group were able to complete the course within a couple of weeks.
Simmonds & Bristow are happy to provide this delivery method and are available to do so.
A common misconception surrounding FTF training stems from the minimum price of the course. To ensure we can deliver the training, we have a minimum class price that fits up to 6 learners. We are happy to deliver to as little as 1 learner, however you may want to fill these spaces.
If you are looking to fill the spots but do not have the personnel to do so, we encourage you to collaborate with your near neighbours (regionally and company-wise) or give us a call. Our team are happy to help, being the first point of contact for your training arrangements, they have the industry awareness and can help you find other groups with similar needs, so don’t be afraid to give them a call.
What if you have a larger group?
The maximum number of learners for a single class is ten, but that shouldn’t stop you. If you have larger groups we can split the delivery into multiple classes, or add another trainer to take on the extra learners.
What are the other options for training?
Simmonds & Bristow also offer bespoke training programs as part of our delivery methods. These programs are formed by the trainer in consultation with you and they can span multiple locations and groups of people. We most often do these courses for QWRAP regions and the success of this method has seen our trainers recognised for their work.
There are always other options for training, including: virtual classroom, independent learner, blended and RPL methods. Please contact the Sales & Customer Service team or check out our webpage for more information:
Regardless of your choice, S&B are here to help you.
